    Unzip allows users to optionally connect their own Google Drive account in order to manage files stored there.

    Unzip uses the Google Drive API provided by Google LLC solely to provide user-requested file management features.

    What Google Drive access is used for

    When you explicitly sign in and grant permission, Unzip may use Google Drive access to:

    • Authenticate the user with their Google account
    • Display the user’s Google Drive files and folders
    • Download files selected by the user
    • Upload files chosen by the user
    • Perform file actions (rename, move, delete) only on files explicitly selected by the user

    Important Data Use Clarifications

    • Google Drive access occurs only after the user explicitly signs in and grants permission
    • Unzip accesses only files belonging to the signed-in user
    • Unzip does not access Google Drive data automatically or in the background
    • Google Drive data is used solely to provide features requested by the user
    • Google Drive data is not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling

    Google API Disclosure

    Unzip’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

    Unzip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

    Data Collection

    Unzip does not collect, track, or sell personal data.

    The app does not operate backend servers that receive user data. All file operations are performed locally on your device and only when initiated by you.

    Cookies and Tracking Technologies

    Unzip does not use cookies, trackers, or similar technologies.

    Children’s Privacy

    Unzip does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since no personal data is collected, no special handling of children’s data is required.
