How MyFiles Uses Google Drive Data
MyFiles uses the Google Drive API to allow users to connect their own Google Drive account and manage their files.
Specifically, MyFiles uses Google Drive access to:
- Sign in the user to their Google account
- Display the user’s Google Drive files and folders
- Download files selected by the user
- Upload files chosen by the user
- Perform file actions (rename, move, delete) only on files the user selects
Important Data Use Clarifications

- MyFiles does not access files automatically or in the background
- Google Drive data is used solely to provide file management features requested by the user
